The Epitomy of the Internet

It’s Friday, so at the end of the day, I decide to do something a little more fun. I’m looking into developing my own slideshow in Flash - a million of them out there, but none quite the way I want or they’re trying to charge me. Plus, it’s always good to learn a little something. So before I set out on the project,Â? Silent Rob andÂ? look around for a tutorial so I can brush up on my skills. We stumbled across kirupa.comÂ? - what an amazing resource!

I have a handful of Flash books, from Flash 5 to MX 2004, and they’re are all great resources, but this website is everything the Internet should be. Free information on a useful subject. The tutorials, from what I’ve seen, are straightforward and in depth, and interestingly enough, the tutorials I’ve looked at seem to give you the option to learn the material, or, for those tainted users, you can just d/l the finished version. If there’s something the Internet has taught me, it’s that everything is out there free, you just have to find it. As mentioned on techdirt, content companies are convinced that copy protection is needed for them to put their content online. I figure, the more effort and concern that is placed on preventing copying and pirating, the more theÂ? “professionals” on the netÂ? will be inclined to crack/copy it.
